Wisconsin is hosting BYU in Week 3 of the college football season and the Cougars are putting up a fight.
After last season’s 40-6 victory for Wisconsin over BYU, many thought this year’s contest would be much of the same. It hasn’t been.
At halftime, the score is tied 14-14. In the first half, though, Wisconsin took a blow to its defense. Outside linebacker Andrew Van Ginkel was seen walking off the field at one point:

It didn’t appear to be incredibly serious, considering that he was walking on his own. But, it’s never safe to assume.

Ginkel apparently suffered a right leg injury in the first half and won’t be returning for the final 30 minutes of action. In the first two weeks of the season, the senior LB recorded 6 tackles, 1 sack and 1 pass deflection.
