Wisconsin opens second half with interception, go-ahead TD vs. Nebraska

Wisconsin is looking to maintain its B1G West lead and send the seniors out with one more win at home, and the defense started the second half off on the wrong foot.

Coming out of the break, sideline reporter Tom Luginbill reported that Nebraska QB Adrian Martinez was dealing with an injury to the right side of his body after missing a drive to end the first half. No other details were given, but this throw did not look clean.

It was a bit of a wobbler out of Martinez’s hand, but Collin Wilder had a read on it the entire way. He closed on the ball and was headed back the other direction in an instant and flipped the field for the Badgers offense.

Graham Mertz capped that drive with a toss to Kendric Pryor, putting the Badgers back on top to start the third:
