It’s only been one quarter, but Wisconsin running back Jonathan Taylor is already having a huge day against Michigan. In the first 15 minutes, Taylor posted 143 rushing yards and two touchdowns on just 12 carries.

One for those attempts was a 72-yard touchdown to put the Badgers ahead 14-0. On that play, Michigan completely lost contain on the left side of Wisconsin’s offensive line, and Taylor easily went untouched to the end zone.

Taylor second touchdown came plays after Michigan appeared to complete a long pass to Ronnie Bell, but officials overruled Bell’s catch, calling it incomplete. The incompletion meant Michigan faced a third-and-5, which they failed to convert, so the Wolverines punted as a result.

Taylor rushed for 321 yards against Purdue last November, which is his career high. He posted 200 rushing yards five times last season, and he’s well on his way to that again against Michigan.
