Wisconsin is hoping its game at home against New Mexico State doesn’t come down to a field goal with the long injury list, including both kickers out. Vito Calvaruso and Jack Van Dyke are both out with right leg injuries.

The only kickers on Wisconsin’s roster that are not injured are redshirt freshman Nate Van Zelst and freshman Gavin Lahm. Only Calvaruso has been handling the kicking duties for Wisconsin all season as he is 7-for-7 in extra points, but 1-for-3 in field goal attempts.

Also on the injury list is senior cornerback Alexander Smith out with a right leg injury.

This game on Saturday will be the second time in program history that Wisconsin will meet New Mexico State. Wisconsin won the only matchup in 1962 in Madison with a 69-13 score.
