Wisconsin is set to promote a quality control staffer to fill the program’s tight ends coach vacancy.

Nate Letton, who was Cincinnati’s tight ends coach in 2022, will fill that role, according to multiple reports including FootballScoop. He was an offensive graduate assistant for the Bearcats in 2020-21. At Wisconsin, he was a quality control staffer for special teams and offense.

The move came after the departure of passing game coordinator/tight ends coach Gino Guidugli, who took the quarterbacks job at Notre Dame.

Before he joined the UC staff, Letton, a native of Lexington, Kentucky, coached at his alma mater, Centre College, from 2015 to 2019. He coached wide receivers in 2015 and tight ends in 2016 before coaching the offensive line for 3 seasons.
