Wisconsin shared some exciting news for fans (at least those 21 and up) on Monday. Badger fans will be able to enjoy adult beverages at home football games starting this fall.

As seen at other college football stadiums, alcohol sales at Camp Randall are limited to beer, wine and pre-packaged beverages. The policy also applies to the UW Field House.

Wisconsin introduced alcohol sales at the Kohl Center and LaBahn. Camp Randall will have the same policy of two beverage purchases at a time per person. Wisconsin becomes the 16th B1G school to sell alcoholic beverages in general seating areas.

“The option to purchase alcohol is common at collegiate athletic venues all over the country and we’re glad that we can now offer it as part of the fan experience at Camp Randall,” Chancellor Jennifer L. Mnookin said in a school release. “I appreciate the work our athletic and administrative teams have done to put together a plan that balances this opportunity with public safety.”

Wisconsin to host SEC power, 4 B1G games in 2024

Wisconsin fans are excited for Year 2 under Luke Fickell after a winning season and going to a bowl game last year.

The 2024 campaign kicks off Western Michigan visiting Madison on Aug. 30. A Friday game, the season-opener is set to air on FS1 with an 8 p.m. kickoff.

The Badgers play their first 3 contests at home. South Dakota will provide a Week 2 tuneup before arguably the biggest game on the schedule.

Wisconsin will host Alabama on Sept. 14. The game is already sold out. Nick Saban has retired, but the Crimson Tide is set to have a loaded roster for 2024, the first season under former Washington head coach Kalen DeBoer.

The Badgers’ home B1G slate includes Purdue (Oct. 5), Penn State (Oct. 26, homecoming), Oregon (Nov. 16) and Minnesota (Nov. 29).

Wisconsin was 7-6 overall in 2023, going 4-3 at home.
