Jonathan Taylor ran for a career-high 321 yards and scored three second-half touchdowns as the Wisconsin Badgers (7-4, 5-3 Big Ten) overcame a 14-point deficit with seven minutes remaining in the fourth quarter to force overtime and ultimately defeat Purdue (5-6, 4-4) by a final score of 47-44 to ensure its 17th consecutive winning season.
Not only was Taylor’s performance good for 3rd all-time in a single game behind Melvin Gordon (408) and Ron Dayne (339), but the 14-point fourth-quarter comeback is the second-largest in a road game in school history:
Yesterday's 14-point fourth-quarter comeback at Purdue is the 2nd-largest in a road game in school history.

Yesterday's win marked the 4th double-digit fourth-quarter comeback on the road all-time.
2 of the 4 have come in West Lafayette — yesterday and in 2004, when Scott Starks' 40-yd fumble recovery TD put UW over the top after trailing 17-7 in the 4th.
