No. 5-ranked Wisconsin (7-0) will be without its starting safety, D’Cota Dixon, when they face Illinois (2-5) on the road on Saturday. Joe Ferguson will likely start in place of Dixon.

Dixon has 43 tackles and an interception for the Badgers this season. Ferguson has played in three games this year, tallying four tackles and two sacks.

Wisconsin is 40-36 all-time against Illinois and has won the last seven meetings against the Fighting Illini.
