Woody Marks rescues USC possession with wild strip of Michigan DT Kenneth Grant
By Mark Kern
Published:
It has been a highly contested game in Ann Arbor, and USC running back Woody Marks made a potential game-changing play to keep the Trojans right in the game against Michigan.
With USC trailing 20-10 in the third quarter, the Trojans had a 3rd-and-goal from the Michigan 6-yard line. Quarterback Miller Moss was sacked and fumbled the ball, with Wolverines defensive tackle Kenneth Grant recovering it.
However, Marks was able to rip the ball away from Grant, giving the Trojans the ball again in Wolverines territory.

After getting the ball back, USC scored in just 2 plays to cut the lead to 20-17.
Not only did Marks make that play, but he has been one of the best players for the Trojans offense today. He has 92 yards on the ground, while also adding 25 receiving yards.
This is a historic game for the Trojans, as this is their first B1G game of all-time. The way the game is going, we could be in store for a historic ending as well.
