WWE has announced 3 Big Ten athletes will take part in the company’s NIL program in 2023.

The program, dubbed “Next In Line,” includes 2 Penn State athletes and 1 from Rutgers. Representing the Nittany Lions will be football player Nick Dawkins and wrestler Greg Kerkvliet. For the Scarlet Knights, football player Isaiah Iton will be participating.

Dawkins, a veteran offensive lineman, just finished his 3rd season with the Nittany Lions. He’s listed at 6-foot-4, 315 pounds.

Kerkvliet is a junior in Penn State’s wrestling program. He’s a 2-time All-American with the Nittany Lions. He earned 4th place at the 2022 NCAA’s as a sophomore.

Iton transferred to Rutgers earlier this month after spending the previous 2 seasons at Ole Miss. He was a reserve defensive lineman for the Rebels but played in 23 games over the past 2 campaigns.

WWE has now signed 46 college athletes to its NIL program, according to a release. Former Minnesota wrestler Gable Steveson was the first athlete to sign on back in December of 2021.
