Wyatt Davis says Ohio State not getting any respect heading into Sugar Bowl

Dating back to the 1978 Gator Bowl, bowl games between Ohio State and Clemson have always been games on fan’s “must-watch” lists over the New Year’s Holiday bowl schedules.
Most recently, Clemson beat Ohio State in the College Football Playoff semifinals of the 2016 and 2019 seasons, both at the Fiesta Bowl in Glendale, Arizona.
The former was won by the Tigers in a 31-0 rout on their way to their first national championship since 1981. But what is remembered most fans, and is still fresh on current Buckeyes player’s minds, is last season’s nail-biter when Clemson pulled out a 29-23 victory on a 34-yard touchdown pass from Trevor Lawrence with 1:49 left in the game.
Both victories were sealed with interceptions, with last season ending for the Buckeyes when Nolan Turner picked off Justin Fields in the end zone.
Friday night’s Sugar Bowl has been a game the Ohio State team has been looking forward to all season, and according to OSU guard Wyatt Davis, it’s a game they’ve been working toward since the off-season.
Wyatt Davis said Ohio State had a whole winter/offseason program dedicated to this game, and he's taken notice of what people have been saying about Ohio State over the past week.
