Xavier Johnson suffered an injury against Kansas on Saturday. Indiana played Kansas on the road at Allen Fieldhouse and was hoping for a game to get back on track after recently dropping games to Rutgers and Arizona.
Johnson was hurt during the first half and had to be helped off the court by his teammates. Johnson would later be officially ruled out for the second half of the game with a foot injury by an Indiana spokesman.

Johnson is averaging 10.9 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 5.2 assists per game this season for the Hoosiers. The Indiana guard transferred to Bloomington last season after spending the majority of his college career with Pitt.
Hopefully Johnson’s injury is not as bad as it looked because Indiana will miss his impact on the court. Indiana is 8-2 on the year and would love a win over the top ranked Jayhawks.
Stay tuned for more updates about Johnson following the game.
