The start of the XFL won’t come until spring but the new football league has already locked up some important partnerships for the 2020 season.
The league announced on Monday that it has locked up partnerships with ABC, ESPN, FOX Sports and FS1 to broadcast its games. It will be much easier to locate games on television, which was an issue for the now-extinct Alliance of American Football.
The XFL also released its full television schedule for the 2020 season, which is set to debut on February 8. The league will have a 10-game schedule that runs through early April. The playoffs are set for Saturday, April 18 and Sunday, April 19 and the championship will be held on Sunday, April 26.
