Yahoo Sports updates Top 4 following Week 7

The undefeated teams are still the favorites in the College Football Playoff race.

Despite some impressive wins from one-loss teams like Michigan and LSU this weekend, Yahoo! Sports college football writer Pat Forde still believes that the four best teams in the sport are without a blemish. Or those four teams are most deserving of a bid to the CFB Playoff, rather.

On Sunday, Forde updated his playoff picture, which looks like this:

  1. Alabama
  2. Ohio State
  3. Notre Dame
  4. Clemson

That’s been a pretty standard CFB Playoff outlook across the country. If the season were to end this weekend, it’d be hard to argue against that lineup.

Fortunately, we still have six weeks of the regular season remaining. And with teams like LSU, Michigan and Texas looking better each week, it could really provide us with an entertaining race down the stretch.

It will be interesting to see how much this outlook changes over the next six weeks.
