After Zach Smith claims he never abused ex-wife, reporter releases text message of Smith admitting he did

Prior to Zach Smith’s appearance on SportsCenter, he joined 105.7 The Zone radio station in Columbus, Ohio, and responded to the claims that he abused his ex-wife, Courtney.

During the radio interview — and during the SportsCenter interview, Smith claims he never abused his ex-wife; however, CFB reporter Brett McMurphy who broke the original story story shared a text message conversation between Smith and his ex-wife in which McMurphy says Smith was admitting that he strangled his wife and apologized for the action.
