Zavier Simpson posts memorable performance on Michigan’s Senior Night

Zavier Simpson played his final game at Crisler Center on Thursday night. After a tremendous four-year career wearing the Michigan uniform, the starting guard had one more opportunity to leave his legacy on the program.
He did exactly that, too.
Simpson had a memorable performance in his final game with the Wolverines, ending his home career with a double-double. The senior guard scored 11 points and dished out 10 assists in his last game at Crisler Center on Thursday night, helping Michigan to an 82-58 victory over Nebraska. He also grabbed two rebounds in the victory.
As Simpson was taken off the court for the final time, he was rewarded with a standing ovation for a tremendous performance and an even better career in Ann Arbor.

That’s the best way to go out on your home floor.
Jon Teske, the other senior for the Wolverines, totaled 12 points, five rebounds and an assist in the victory.
Michigan still has one regular season contest remaining, a road game against Maryland on Sunday. The Wolverines will then enter the B1G Tournament and should be destined for the NCAA Tournament, as well.
With Thursday nights’ victory, the Wolverines improved to 19-11 on the season and 10-9 in B1G play.
