Northwestern is hosting Nebraska on this Saturday in a game that feels like it’s got some pretty big importance.

The Wildcats are looking to make it a perfect 3-0 start and do it against a Nebraska team Northwestern fell to last season. Meanwhile, the Huskers are looking to get a win after being blown out in Columbus in Week 1 and not having a game in Week 2 thanks to a COVID outbreak in Madison.

During College GameDay on Saturday, the crew took a look at this game.

The talk was started by David Pollack.

“Peyton Ramsey, if you’ve heard that name or if you remember that name, he was at Indiana,” the former Georgia star said. “He’s tough, he can run. It gives them something they haven’t had in a while at the quarterback spot. I think this team goes 3-0 today.”

Meanwhile, the rest of the crew seemed to be on the same wavelength as Pollack.

“This was a team that was embarrassed (last season),” said Kirk Herbstreit. “Pat Fitzgerald has too much pride to let that thing go on. I’m with you (David Pollack). They go 3-0 today.”

Finally, Desmond Howard had to get his two cents in on the Wildcats.

“I heard you guys breaking down Peyton Ramsey, but I love the defense,” he said. “Don’t forget, Coach Fitz use to be a defensive player, a linebacker. They rely heavily on linebackers. They’ve only let teams average 70 yards per game on the ground. So this defense will carry them.”
