Watch out, John Legend; the B1G's leading receiver has serious pipes
Austin Carr lit up defenses in the first half of the season.
The Northwestern wideout is the B1G’s leading receiver with 595 yards and eight touchdowns in his first six games. And contrary to what he’s been doing since the start of B1G play, Carr does more than catch long touchdown passes.
The dude can sing. Well.
He serenaded Big Ten Network with his best John Legend impersonation:
Not surprisingly, Carr can sing and play the piano. The Northwestern wideout was involved in the arts throughout high school and he was raised by a couple of musical parents. His mom is a classically trained pianist and his dad is a drummer.
CarrĀ also writes and performs his own songs. Those musical chops helped him win the student-athlete talent show at Northwestern.
Maybe he’ll earn some All-B1G honors to add to his growing collection of awards.
