One college football fan, Blaise D’Sylva, is sharing the helmet history of one FBS school each day over the course of about four months. On Saturday, it was Northwestern’s turn.

According to D’Sylva, the Wildcats have worn 41 helmets in their history. D’Sylva presented 36 of them in a display case and tweeted out a photo of it on Saturday:

One of the coolest things about this series from D’Sylva is to see the changes to one program’s helmet over the years. As is the case with most programs, the Northwestern helmet has come a long way, and there have been several cool alternative editions to the helmet logo, such as the American-flag themed helmet, which the team has usually worn around the anniversary of Sept. 11.
