Rashawn Slater joined fellow teammate Corey Linsley on the ‘NFL Top 100’ list. The 2nd-year man out of Northwestern came in at No. 79.

The Los Angeles Chargers selected Slater with the 13th overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, and it looks like they are already a solid return on their investment. Slater was also voted to the Pro Bowl as a rookie, and started for the AFC side.

Unfortunately for Slater, the Chargers missed the playoffs during his rookie season. However, the team has a lot of momentum carrying over from last season. Especially now that players like LB Khalil Mack, CB J.C. Jackson, and Gerald Everett.

If Slater keeps this up, he should be blocking for QB Justin Herbert for a long time. We’ll see if he can top what he did in his rookie year.
