Most coaches are sweating on Saturday, but Pat Fitzgerald celebrates 1-0 start at Luke Bryan concert
Most teams hadn’t until today, but Northwestern already put in its work on the football field this week.
On Thursday night, the Wildcats traveled to face Purdue and came away with a season opening Big Ten victory by defeating the Boilermakers 31-27. Northwestern is now 1-0 on the season and coach Pat Fitzgerald wanted to celebrate.
Sure, it’s Saturday, but the Wildcats are off.
Take a look at what Fitzgerald was doing:

Scouting your future opponent, or going to a concert at Wrigley Field? Fitzgerald made his choice, and it is probably a fun one.
Game film can always be looked at on Sunday, right?
Northwestern’s second game of the season will be against Duke on Sept. 8 at Ryan Field in Evanston. The game will mark the home opener for the Wildcats and be televised on ESPNU.
