David Braun earns nod from Kirk Herbstreit on list of top coaches from Week 12

David Braun earned the full-time head coaching job at Northwestern last week and immediately won the game which has the Wildcats in a bowl game for the first time since 2018. Not a bad start!
The former Interim HC has done incredible work with Northwestern this season. The Wildcats were expected to finish last in the conference preseason following the firing of Pat Fitzgerald just before the season.
So it comes as no surprise that Kirk Herbstreit gave Braun a shoutout in his latest rankings of the top individual coaching performances from Week 12.

Northwestern is now 6-5 on the season after its 23-15 win over Purdue. The Wildcats look to make it 7 wins in 2023 against Illinois this Saturday at 3:30 p.m. ET on Big Ten Network.
