Evan Hull races Northwestern out to quick lead with huge performance in first quarter

Northwestern had to punt on its opening drive of Saturday’s game, but it did not take long for the Wildcats to come alive against Ohio.
After forcing an early fumble recovery, Northwestern went to work and drove deep into Ohio’s territory. That is when Evan Hull went to work from 17 yards out, fighting into the end zone for a touchdown.

On the ensuing drive, Hull produced even more fireworks. He gashed Ohio’s defense from 90 yards out for an incredible touchdown to put him over 100 yards on the afternoon.
It gives Hull his 10th career touchdown as he finishes the first quarter with 8 carries for 125 yards and 2 touchdowns.
