Northwestern guard Julian Roper, a rotational player for Chris Collins and the Wildcats, will miss Northwestern’s game against Minnesota with a lingering ankle injury.

Roper, who averages 4.4 point per game and 3.6 rebounds per game, has missed 5 games this season already and was absent for Northwestern’s win over Nebraska with the aforementioned injury.

Roper can’t seem to get into a groove on the court for the Wildcats. His time on the court is promising, however. He’s hitting 3-pointers at a strong rate this season, though he does not take many. Pound-for-pound, he’s one of the better rebounding guards the Wildcats have.

Roper has struggled with turnovers and committing fouls this season, however.
