Northwestern is headed to the B1G Championship Game next weekend after securing the B1G West, but that success hasn’t produced a great turnout for the season finale.

The Wildcats are finishing the season by taking on in-state rival Illinois at home. Northwestern has won five of the last six over the Illini, but rivalry games usually result in big crowds across the board.

Unfortunately, that is not the case for the Wildcats. Jeremy Werner with 247 Sports shared a shot of the stands at Northwestern, and there are still plenty of seats open for the last game of the season.

It really is a disappointing sight considering what Pat Fitzgerald and company have accomplished this season.
