LOOK: Northwestern honors Veterans Day with unique helmets vs. Iowa

At 3:30 p.m., Northwestern is scheduled to face No. 21 Iowa at Kinnick Stadium.
Maybe the Wildcats won’t be at home against the Hawkeyes, but that doesn’t mean that they can’t do something sweet with their uniforms. Thanks to this weekend being Veterans weekend, Northwestern wanted to show its support on Saturday for all to see:

These types of helmets or uniforms that teams use to show respect for something are always cool. Does it break away from the norm?
Sure.
But is honoring Veterans Day worth it? Absolutely.
Coming into the game, Northwestern is atop the Big Ten West division at 5-1 in conference, while Iowa is 3-3.
