There’s a reason Jim Phillips is regarded as one of the top athletic directors in college sports. Just one look at Northwestern’s football facility shows the dedication he’s pouring into the university’s athletic program.
Recently, Big Ten Network took it’s “road trip” to Evanston to check out a team practice. Of course, checking out the progress of the new facility was an essential tour stop. While the Wildcats may be behind the eight ball in terms of state-of-the-art facilities, Northwestern is certainly making a huge step in the right direction.

The new facility is expected to be completed and open by the spring of 2018.
