Major Northwestern alums wishing Wildcats well for B1G Championship Game showdown vs. Ohio State
The Northwestern crowd is showing its support in full force this weekend as the football team prepares to take on Ohio State in the B1G Championship Game in Indianapolis on Saturday.
High-profile alums and ESPN employees Rachel Nichols, Mike Greenburg and Michael Wilbon all released videos of support for the B1GCats this weekend. Northwestern is 6-1 this season and will play a 5-0 Ohio State team this weekend with the conference title hanging in the balance.
Northwestern is a 20.5-point underdog in the game. The two teams last met in the B1G Championship Game in 2018, making it the second time in three years the Wildcats and Buckeyes have played at Lucas Oil Stadium.
Below are the messages sent out by the alums:

Not many are giving Northwestern much of a chance to defeat Ohio State this weekend, as the Buckeyes look to round out a 6-0 season with a conference title and earn a spot in the College Football Playoff. The Wildcats could spoil the season for the Buckeyes with an upset victory on Saturday.
Kickoff for the B1G Championship Game is set for 12 p.m. ET and the game will air on FOX.
