Michael Wilbon is ready for the Northwestern-Nebraska matchup in Dublin, Ireland. He made sure to let people know who he was rooting for.

Wilbon graduated from the Northwestern University Medill School of Journalism in 1980, and has been a fan of the team ever since. Northwestern Athletics posted a video of him giving a pep talk to the Wildcats.

“Ireland has never seen this much purple in one space,” said Wilbon. “That’s because Northwestern is here in full force. Hopefully tomorrow in full effect on the football field. Cannot wait. One of our greatest trips in the history of the school, in terms of athletics. Go Cats!”

Like many Northwestern fans, Wilbon will be hoping that this year’s game will be a lot closer. Nebraska handled Northwestern pretty well last season, and won 56-7.

The Wildcats will have to show that they are a much better team this time around. The game will be played Saturday at 12:30 p.m. ET on FOX
