And then there were none.

Northwestern went into the offseason with two Friday night games scheduled for 2017. Never mind the fact that half the B1G didn’t even have one. Pat Fitzgerald was vocal about his disapproval of that decision.

Well, Fitzgerald and the Wildcats got their way.

Last week, it was reported that the Wildcats’ Friday night game with Maryland was rescheduled. A Michigan State spokesperson confirmed to MLive.com that the Spartans’ Friday night tilt on Oct. 27 with Northwestern was also pushed back to Saturday.

That means that in the past three days, Maryland, Michigan State and Northwestern all had their Friday night games removed from their schedules.

As it stands, there are now only four B1G games scheduled for Friday night.

Here’s what the B1G’s first Friday night slate will look like in 2017:

  • Friday, Sept. 1 — Washington vs. Rutgers
  • Friday, Sept. 1 — Utah State vs. Wisconsin
  • Friday, Sept. 8 — Ohio vs. Purdue
  • Friday, Sept. 29 — Nebraska vs. Illinois

That leaves just one conference game scheduled for Friday night, and just two after opening weekend.
