Kafka, 34, is a former Northwestern quarterback. In 2010, he was selected in the fourth round of the NFL Draft by the Philadelphia Eagles. He remained in the NFL until 2015. In 2016, he returned to Northwestern as a graduate assistant. Kafka then reunited with Andy Reid, joining the Kansas City Chiefs coaching staff. Kafka initially joined the Chiefs as a quality control coach. He was promoted to quarterbacks coach in 2018 and added the title of passing game coordinator in 2020.
The Giants recently hired Brian Daboll as the team’s new head coach. Daboll was Buffalo’s offensive coordinator.
