Northwestern will host an FCS program to round out its schedule in 2021.

According to, Northwestern has officially added Indiana State to the 2021 schedule. That game will round out the Wildcats’ slate for that season.

In addition to Indiana State, Northwestern will also travel to Durham, North Carolina to play Duke and host MAC foe Ohio to round out the non-conference slate. The Wildcats open that season with a B1G contest against Michigan State at Ryan Field.

Northwestern also has games scheduled against FCS opponents in 2020 (Morgan State) and 2022 (Southern Illinois) currently.

The Wildcats are coming off a 9-5 season and won the B1G West last fall, making their first appearance in the B1G Championship Game. They will kick off this season with a trip to Stanford on Saturday, Aug. 31.
