Hilinski’s Hope was founded by the family of Northwestern quarterback Ryan Hilinski. The non-profit organization was created with the aim to shatter the stigma surrounding mental health for student-athletes. There have been sixty schools that have pledged to join the mission, and all will be representing Hilinski’s Hope by wearing the decals.
The Wildcats and the Huskers have had historically close matchups, with 8 of the last 10 games since Nebraska joined the B1g in 2011 that were decided by just one score. Six of the games have been decided by three points or less.
Northwestern travels to Lincoln to take on the Huskers on Saturday, Oct. 3 — kickoff is set for 6:30 PM.
