Northwestern basketball reveals full non-conference slate for 2022-23 season

Northwestern basketball is getting set for its 10th season under head coach Chris Collins. On Friday, the Wildcats unveiled their full slate for the non-conference schedule during the 2022-23 season.

The slate includes 8 home games at Welsh-Ryan Arena for Northwestern including a quartet of games against in-state competition. Chicago State, Northern Illinois, DePaul and UIC will all travel to face the Wildcats.

Special matchups on the non-conference slate include Northwestern taking part in the Cancun Challenge and the Gavitt Tipoff Games. The home opener gets things started on Nov. 7.

Here is the full non-conference schedule:

  • Nov. 7 – Chicago State (Home opener)
  • Nov. 11 – Northern Illinois
  • Nov. 15 – Georgetown (Gavitt Tipoff)
  • Nov. 18 – Purdue Fort Wayne (Cancun Challenge)
  • Nov. 22 – Liberty (Cancun Challenge)
  • Nov. 23 – Auburn or Bradley (Cancun Challenge)
  • Nov. 28 – Pittsburgh
  • Dec. 11 – Prairie View A&M
  • Dec. 17 – DePaul
  • Dec. 20 – UIC
  • Dec. 29 – Brown
