Northwestern drops game trailer for home opener vs. Duke
Ahead of its home opener against Duke, Northwestern released a game trailer via Twitter on Friday.
The video features some of the legendary moments at Ryan Field over the years, ending the video with “Expect Victory.” Last year, Northwestern was 3-3 at home.
Northwestern makes its return to Ryan Field to take on Duke after a trip across the pond to Ireland where it defeated Nebraska 31-28.
Northwestern is looking to turn things around this season after going 3-9 a year ago. Northwestern is entering its 17th season with head coach Pat Fitzgerald.
As for Duke, the Blue Devils coming off a 30-0 win against Temple. Former Wake Forest, Notre Dame, and Texas A&M defensive coordinator Mike Elko is in his 1st season leading the Blue Devils after now-former head coach David Cutcliffe and the program parted ways after 14 seasons.
Kickoff for Saturday’s game is set for 12 p.m. ET on FS1.
