Northwestern flips DT commitment from SEC school out of Floridian powerhouse
Recruiting is a war. OK, not literally, but, you get my point.
It can get dirty at times. Some believe other schools tamper and say horrific things about its foes to get a leg-up in the competition.
Regardless, recruits almost routinely flip their commitments from one school to another. On Tuesday, Northwestern flipped a prospect’s commitment from Vanderbilt:

Northwestern is receiving a verbal commitment from Jordan Butler, a 6-foot-2, 295-pound defensive tackle from IMG Academy in Florida. IMG Academy routinely has some of the best high school prospects throughout the entire country.
Butler, according to 247Sports, is a 3-star prospect and ranks as the No. 51 DT in the Class of 2020.
Northwestern’s entire Class of 2020 can be seen here. It ranks No. 29 nationally and No. 7 in the Big Ten after Butler’s flip.
