A Michigan native and highly-recruited pro-style quarterback has decided to commit to Northwestern.

The Wildcats landed a verbal pledge from three-star gunslinger Brendan Sullivan on Monday, who becomes the fifth player to commit to the program in the 2021 recruiting cycle. He had received offers from more than a dozen programs.

“These last few years have been crazy with a lot of memories I will cherish forever and brothers I will have a special bond with until the end,” Sullivan wrote. “With all that being said, I’m ready for the next chapter in my life. I’d like to announce my commitment to Northwestern University!”

Sullivan is a native of Davison, Michigan and is listed as a three-star quarterback on 247Sports.com. He picked Northwestern over offers from Indiana, Buffalo, Central Michigan, Eastern Michigan, Ohio, Toledo and others.

The 6-foot-3, 180-pound passer is ranked as the No. 27 pro-style quarterback in the 2021 recruiting class. Sullivan joins a Northwestern class that ranks 43rd nationally and 13th in the B1G.
