Northwestern added a transfer commitment from former Princeton guard Ryan Langborg Sunday. This is the 3rd transfer commitment of the offseason for the Wildcats.

Langborg was instrumental in Princeton’s surprise run to the Sweet 16. He got better with each passing game, scoring 8 against Arizona, 22 against Mizzou and 26 in a losing effort to Creighton. He was especially dangerous against Missouri, adding 6 rebounds and 4 assists in the monumental win.

He averaged 12.7 point per game for the Tigers in 2022/23.

Northwestern has a pair of top tier guards in the NBA Draft in Boo Buie and Chase Audige. Both still maintain the ability to return to school should they choose.

And they could be joining a strong group should they return. The Wildcats added transfers Blake Preston and Justin Mullins already earlier this offseason, and both should be able to build off Northwestern’s strong 2023 season.

Keep an eye on Evanston.
