Northwestern is making it extremely easy for students to attend the B1G Championship Game
Northwestern is going the extra mile to ensure there’s plenty of purple in Indianapolis on Dec. 1.
According to Teddy Greenstein of the Chicago Tribune, the school is providing a free ticket and free transportation to the B1G Championship Game for its undergraduate students. Interested takers will have to respond quickly, however, as Northwestern is requesting a response by Wednesday.
The Wildcats clinched the West crown and a spot in the B1G Championship Game with a 14-10 win over Iowa last Saturday. It’s the first division title in the school’s history.
Students will receive a mass email about the opportunity to receive a free ticket and trip to Indianapolis.
Northwestern is 6-4 this season with a 6-1 mark in B1G play. It became the first Power Five program to win a division while losing all of its non-conference games.
The Wildcats still have two games left on the regular season schedule. They will take on Minnesota and Illinois on the next two Saturdays.
