Northwestern lands pledge from transfer OL out of Colorado State
Northwestern is getting a big boost to the offensive line. The Wildcats made room for a new addition via the transfer portal on Monday.
Vince Picozzi announced on Twitter that he has committed to Northwestern to finish his college football career. He comes to Evanston after spending the 2021 season at Colorado State. The offensive lineman was previously at Temple, where he started in 34 career games.
“Excited to announce I will be committing to Northwestern for my final season,” Picozzi announced.

Picozzi entered his name into the NCAA transfer portal following the conclusion of the 2021 season. He will have one year of eligibility left to use for the Wildcats.
The addition of the offensive lineman is good news for Pat Fitzgerald and the Wildcats, which struggled during a 3-9 campaign in 2021. Adding experience up front should help Northwestern on the offensive side of the football.
