If you were hoping to get a little inside information on whether or not Northwestern plans to start Clayton Thorson on Thursday night, you’ll have to keep waiting until kickoff.
Wednesday, Northwestern released its injury report for the Week 1 matchup against Purdue in West Lafayette. Only one player was on that list — Clayton Thorson.
Thorson is listed as questionable for the Wildcats, giving no clarity one way or the other into the quarterback’s injury status.

Thorson has started in every game for Northwestern since arriving on campus in 2015, making 39 consecutive starts.
Will he hit No. 40? Or will he miss the season opener at Ross-Ade Stadium? We’ll find out on Thursday at 8:00 p.m. ET.
