The end-of-season All-American lists continue to come out, and more B1G athletes are earning additional honors.

The latest to earn such an honor is Northwestern offensive lineman Peter Skoronski. He landed a spot on the Freshman All-American Offense put out by Mike Farrell of Rivals.com. He announced the team on Wednesday.

Skoronski was good enough to be among some highly-regarded linemen at big programs such as Georgia and Oklahoma. Skoronski was also named to 247Sports’ All-American Freshman squad and the AP’s All-Big Ten Second Team. He started each game for Pat Fitzgerald’s squad in 2020.

The Park Ridge, Illinois, native came in with some lofty expectations after committing to nearby Northwestern. He was a four-star recruit according to 247Sports and considered the third-best prospect out of Illinois. He is also the grandson of two-time Super Bowl champion and former Green Bay Packer Bob Skoronski.

The 2020 season, though marred with plenty of oddities and struggles, was a positive one for Northwestern. The Wildcats won their second Big Ten West title in three years and saw certain players emerge such as Skoronski. It will be interesting to see how he can improve on an already impressive freshman campaign.
