Northwestern has another piece for its 2023 recruiting class. This time, it comes from a big offensive line prospect out of South Carolina.

The player is Jordan Knox, an offensive tackle out of Rock Hill, South Carolina. Knox is currently unrated by the composite rankings but is listed at 6-foot-3 and 310 lbs.

“To my family and friends, thank you for your support throughout my years of playing ball, whether it was attending games, contributing to fundraisers, or simply prayers for safety,” wrote Knox in his announcement. “Every university that recruited me, thank you for noticing and believing in my academic and athletic ability, however, at the end of the day my choice came down to fit…This fit has convinced me, with the support of my family, to travel to Evanston committing to play in the Big Ten and joining the NWO at Northwestern University.”

Knox held offers from Duke, Virginia, Western Kentucky, Coastal Carolina and App State, among others, at the time of his commitment.

Northwestern’s 2023 recruiting class is now up to 9 commitments. That group is currently ranked No. 14 in the country.
