Northwestern’s 2020 recruiting class has added another defensive end.

On Tuesday, the Wildcats received a commitment from Jaiden Cameron, a weakside defensive end out of Clayton, Ohio. He became the 16th player to commit to Northwestern and is the second defensive end in the group.

Cameron made his announcement via Twitter.

“Thank you to Coach Fitzgerald, Coach Long and Coach McGarigle for believing in me,” Cameron wrote. “With that being said, I am proud to announce that I will be furthering my academic and athletic career at Northwestern University! Honored to be a Wildcat!”

Cameron does not have any rankings currently from 247Sports, but did receive interest from several programs. He picked Northwestern over Michigan State, Cincinnati, Minnesota and Indiana, along with several others.

Northwestern now owns the nation’s 29th ranked recruiting class and sits at No. 6 in the B1G.
