Northwestern fell behind 17-0 to Michigan State, but the Wildcats are clawing their way back.
Quarterback Peyton Ramsey got Northwestern back within one score thanks to a perfect bootleg play on 4th-and-goal.

This is the second time this season Northwestern has fallen behind 17-0. Iowa also jumped out to a 17-0 lead after the first quarter a few weeks ago, but the Wildcats ended up winning that game 21-20.
Michigan State’s offense has sputtered outside of a pair of big plays. Quarterback Rocky Lombardi completed just two of his first eight passes, but both went for touchdowns.
Northwestern would clinch the Big Ten West division title with a victory today. Every other team in the division has at least two losses or will be ineligible to play for the conference title game due to lack of games played (Wisconsin).
Michigan State is looking for its second win of the season.
