Anderson is playing in place of starter Isaiah Bowser, who was declared inactive for this game about 10 minutes before kick off. The Wildcats are missing 15 players for this game.
Northwestern was a consensus 3.5 point favorite over the Huskers in Evanston for most of the week, but that number moved slightly to 4.5 on Saturday morning.
The Wildcats are 2-0 thanks to big wins over Maryland and Iowa in the first two weeks. Nebraska has only played one game so far, a 52-17 loss to Ohio State.
