Week 7 of the college football season is just ahead and Nebraska is still without a win.

At 0-5, the Huskers need just about every break they can get, and unfortunately for Northwestern, injuries are hurting the Wildcats’ defense and special teams.

On Thursday, a couple days before the B1G matchup, Northwestern released an injury report:

According to the latest Northwestern depth chart, Nathan Fox was the team’s backup Mike LB, but Nate Hall, Charlie Kuhbander and Greg Newsome II are all starters.

Being without a couple defensive pieces and a starting kicker can certainly hurt a team. It may end up forcing Northwestern to go for it on fourth down a couple more times than they might want to if on Nebraska’s side of the field.

Kickoff is set for noon at Ryan Field and the game will be televised on ABC.
