Northwestern releases hype recap video following successful trip Ireland

Northwestern may have come into the Nebraska game as underdogs, but the Wildcats didn’t play like 1. Pat Fitzgerald’s squad walked into Ireland and came out on top with 31-28 victory.
The football team posted a recap video with some highlights from the game. The video used the audio of the radio call from Northwestern play-by-play man Dave Eanet. The Wildcats got revenge for the 56-7 loss they took last season.

Each scoring play, or big moment that Northwestern had was shown in the video. Raymond Niro III, Donny Navarro III, Cam Porter, and Evan Hull all found the end zone before the final whistle. The Wildcats also managed to force 3 turnovers, which turned out to be crucial. Fitzgerald’s squad looks like they are much improved compared to last season.
Northwestern’s next game will be against Duke on Sept. 10. The Blue Devils got the better of the Wildcats last season, beating them by a score of 30-23. The game will be broadcast at Noon ET on FS1.
