No. 8 Northwestern (5-0) continues its march towards an undefeated season when the Wildcats travel to face Michigan State (1-3) on Saturday (3:30 p.m. EST/ESPN).

On Friday, Northwestern revealed the uniform combo they’ll be wearing for the road B1G contest:

That’s a clean look.

Northwestern is off to a 5-0 start for the first time since 1996. Northwestern defeated No. 10 Wisconsin 17-7 in a defensive battle last week. The Northwestern defense has been impressive this season, holding opponents to 20 points or less in every game.

Michigan State’s game last week was canceled because of COVID-19 concerns at Maryland. Michigan State’s lone victory was at Michigan in Week 2.

Michigan State leads the all-time series 38-20 and won last season’s meeting against Northwestern.

Pat Fitzgerald and the Wildcats are riding high after the initial College Football Playoff Rankings, though the rankings were hardly on the mind of Fitzgerald. His focus – and the focus of his team – is on taking care of business against the Spartans.
