Northwestern was supposed to not only have one of the better players at its cornerback position coming into the season – they had some depth, too.

Just a few days after Matthew Harris announced that his career was over due to concussions, the Wildcats listed starting cornerback Trae Williams out for the team’s matchup against Ohio State tomorrow.

According to collegefootballtalk.com, Williams’ injury has not been specified. The redshirt freshman also last last week due to the unknown injury. Over his first four games of his collegiate career earlier this season, Williams recorded 20 tackles and logged one interception.

Alonzo Mayo and Montre Hartage are the starting corners for the Wildcats heading into tomorrow. The Ohio State-Northwestern game is scheduled for a 3:30 p.m. EST start in Columbus.

The game will be televised on ESPN.
